Can Penn State Football still finish with a top ten recruiting class?

Is 271.43 points enough?

This scenario is a realistic one for Penn State football, but it’s also a best-case scenario.

Flipping Keys and Ramil could happen, but it’s also likely that those two stay with their current school.

But, if this was the way the 2023 cycle ended for Penn State, would it be enough?

The 271.43 points would have been good enough for the No. 8 spot in 2022, but it doesn’t look like that would be the case this time around. Clemson is currently in the No. 10 spot with 269.74 points, meaning if the Tigers got just one more commit, they would likely surpass 272 points.

Clemson isn’t the only team Penn State needs to jump either. Tennessee, Oregon and USC are all ahead of the Nittany Lions as well. Penn State will definitely finish in the top 15 in this scenario, but it looks like the Nittany Lions would fall short of the top ten.

Regardless, this would be a monster class for Penn State and a great complement to the 2022 class.
