Penn State football made a statement on Saturday with a massive bounce-back win over Indiana.

Penn State football improved to 7-2 on the season with a dominating 45-14 win over the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday.

The game got off to a slow start with the offense struggling early, resulting in the game being tied 7-7 after the first quarter. The Nittany Lions regrouped though and scored the next 38 points of the game.

The depth and talent of Penn State football really showed down the stretch of this game and that was encouraging to see.

The Nittany Lions are now in prime position to finish the season 10-2 and possibly make a New Year’s Six bowl game. This is a huge improvement after going 11-11 the past two seasons.

Penn State showed a lot of promise on Saturday, but also showed what its gameplan likely will be the rest of the season when it comes to rotations and personnel usage.

Here are three things we learned from the victory.
