4. 3-star ATH Edwin Joseph (2023)

Despite having two wide receiver commits and six defensive back commits in the 2023 class, Penn State football can never have enough talent.

One athlete who fits the bill at both spots is 3-star Edwin Joseph from Hollywood, FL.

Joseph has been on Penn State’s radar for a while now and more schools are starting to take notice as well. His offers include Auburn, Florida State, Miami, Michigan, Oklahoma and Texas A&M.

The two Florida schools are the ones that will give Penn State the biggest challenge in this one. With Florida State looking at least somewhat improved and Miami under new leadership, they are becoming harder to recruit against.

The 6-foot, 178-pound Joseph was last up to Penn State back in September for an official visit for the game against Central Michigan. Since then, he has visited Auburn and Florida State. Obviously, with everything that’s happened at Auburn recently may put it out of the running.

As long as Ja’Juan Seider is at Penn State, the Nittany Lions will have a chance with Florida recruits like Joseph.
