3. 4-star DE Jaylen Harvey (2024)

While Penn State football could use another defensive end in the 2023 class, landing one in the 2024 class wouldn’t hurt either.

One of the early targets is 4-star Jaylen Harvey from Gaithersburg, MD. Harvey attends Quince Orchard High School, the same school as current Penn State defensive end Chop Robinson.

In addition to having someone to talk to who has first-hand experiences at Penn State, Harvey himself has had plenty of experiences at Happy Valley. He was in attendance for both the White Out and the Ohio State game this past Saturday.

It’s uncommon for uncommitted recruits to attend the same school two straight weeks. That’s a good sign for the Nittany Lions.

Harvey is rated as the No. 21 edge player in the country for the 2024 cycles. He also has offers from the likes of Kentucky, Maryland, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ole Miss and Tennessee.

Between knowing Robinson and attending two games already this year, there’s a lot to feel good about in this recruitment.
