Penn State football is looking to keep up its recruiting success as the 2022 season starts to wind down.

Penn State football would like to keep the momentum from the 2022 recruiting class going in the 2023 and 2024 cycles.

The Nittany Lions currently have 20 commits in their 2023 class, which ranks No. 14 in the national rankings. It would have been nice to have back-to-back top 10 recruiting classes, but that is looking a little less likely.

The class is still strong though, especially at linebacker and on the offensive line, two positions the Nittany Lions could use more help at. The class is not done either, as Penn State football would like to add at least another four members to this class.

In 2024, Penn State has just one commit in 4-star OL Cooper Cousins. While recruits in this class cannot sign for at least another 13 months, this does seem to be somewhat of a slow start compared to the 2022 and 2023 classes.

The Nittany Lions hosted over 200 recruits on campus between the Minnesota and Ohio State games these last two weeks. These huge recruiting events could help Penn State finish the 2023 class strong and get the ball rolling in 2024.

Let’s take a look at four recruits between the 2023 and 2024 classes who could be the next commit for the Nittany Lions.
