3. RB Micah Ford (2024)

Penn State is in hot pursuit of many of the nation’s top running backs in 2024, but a regional name to know is Micah Ford.

From Toms River, NJ, the home of numerous pro athletes, Ford is listed at 6-foot and 215 pounds. Quality size for a running back considering he is only a junior.

He is currently unranked but does hold offers from Maryland and West Virginia. Considering it’s still early in the cycle for 2024, it’s not that uncommon for recruits to still be unranked.

It’s unclear how many running backs the Nittany Lions plan to take in the 2024 cycle. They currently have one 2023 commit in London Montgomery but continue to evaluate other 2023 targets considering Montgomery is dealing with a torn ACL and there’s a real chance that Nick Singleton and Kaytron Allen are the only two running backs from 2022 to return in 2023.

The top target in 2024 in Quinton Martin, although he could end up being a wide receiver or a linebacker as well. His talent would likely play everywhere except the offensive line.

If Martin falls through, Ford could be one of the running backs Penn State turns its attention to.
