2. 4-star DE Jaylen Harvey (2024)

Jaylen Harvey was in attendance for the White Out last weekend and according to Brian Dohn of 247 Sports, he will return this week.

The 2024 edge rusher is rated as the No. 21 edge player in the 247 Sports composite for 2024. He attends Quince Orchard in Gaithersburg, MD, the same school as current Penn State edge rusher Chop Robinson.

If the Nittany Lions land Harvey, Robinson deserves an assist on this one. Landing Robinson via the transfer portal is even starting to pay off in recruiting.

Back to Harvey, he is listed at 6-foot-2 and 225 pounds. A bit small for a defensive end in the Big Ten, so it’s unclear if the Nittany Lions intend to use him at linebacker or not.

While Harvey has mostly regional offers so far, he does hold ones from Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ole Miss and Tennessee.

Considering he has been a frequent visitor to Penn State lately, it could be getting close to closing time for the Nittany Lions in this one. A recruit visiting the same school in back-to-back weeks is usually a sign of things to come.
