Penn State Football Recruiting: The 5 biggest visitors for the White Out
4. LB Anthony Sacca (2025)
While the vast majority of the attention will go to the 2024 class, there’s a few 2025 targets that cannot be overlooked. The most notable one is linebacker Anthony Sacca.
It’s too early in the 2025 cycle for there to be proper ratings, but Sacca looks like a future blue-chip recruit.
For starters, he’s 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds as a sophomore. He already holds offers from Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Tennessee and Texas A&M. Lastly, he attends St. Joesph’s Prep in Philadelphia, probably the state’s top producer of D1 talent.

If the Nittany Lions want to get back to being LBU, they could use Sacca.
It’s very early in his recruitment and a commitment this early would be quite the surprise. With that said, the Nittany Lions have a couple huge advantages. Sacca’s father, Tony, quarterbacked the Nittany Lions from 1988-91. He threw for 5,869 yards and 41 touchdowns throughout his career in Happy Valley. Because of this, the younger Sacca grew up attending Penn State games and rooting for the Nittany Lions.
Because of this, the White Out may not wow Sacca like it may other recruits, but this built-in advantage is a bigger deal than the White Out.
Penn State has struggled to recruit St. Joesph’s Prep at times but landing Sacca would erase all the prior struggles.
