Penn State has taken major publicity hit with its performance against Michigan. Rightly so. James Franklin and his coaching staff laid an egg and are wearing the perception of the team not being ready for a big game.
This year’s version of Penn State Football features a very young core that is experiencing defeat for the first time this season. You hear it every season, “We have to overcome adversity and get better from it.” Well, adversity is here for the Penn State program.
Penn State is facing a Minnesota team that likes to do a lot of the same things that Michigan does. With an admission from James Franklin that Penn State was too small, it’s time for the coaches and players to figure out how the rest of the season is going to play out.
James Frankin and Penn State have a tendency of letting the first loss turn into two losses. That simply cannot happen this year as it will quickly turn into three losses with Ohio State looming.
