Penn State football is preparing for its biggest test of the season as it takes the road to face No. 5 Michigan this Saturday.

Penn State football is currently 5-0 and ranked as the No. 10 team in the country after starting the season unranked.

The hot start has been impressive, but the tests are about to get a whole lot tougher over the next three weeks. Penn State football will take the road to face Michigan this Saturday before returning home to play Minnesota and Ohio State.

The first matchup against Michigan will not be an easy one. The Wolverines are 6-0 following their College Football Playoff run last season. Penn State also hasn’t won in the Big House with fans in attendance since 2009.

This game will have huge implications for not only the Big Ten, but the College Football Playoff as well. This win would be James Franklin’s most impressive regular season win as the head coach at Penn State.

If Franklin and his Nittany Lions want to leave Ann Arbor with a win, these three players will have to bring their ‘A game’.
