The Big Ten slate was a mixed bag in Week Six, with some games going down to wire while others were over by halftime.

Week Six was all about the top teams in the Big Ten East showing their strength while the West continued its power struggle.

Ohio State made a statement over Michigan State, while Wisconsin and Nebraska got much needed wins. Two other West teams, Purdue and Illinois, had big wins that could decide who will represent the division in the championship game.

Penn State and Minnesota received the week off. The timing couldn’t have been any better for the Gophers as they hope to have star running back Mohamed Ibrahim back next week. Penn State used the bye week to prepare for arguably the toughest three game stretch a Big Ten team will face this year.

Before looking ahead to that, let’s take a look at what went down in Week Six and where each Big Ten team stands after another entertaining week.
