Penn State football will enter the heart of its Big Ten schedule this Saturday against Northwestern.

Penn State football is currently 4-0 and has a chance for another victory this Saturday against the Northwestern Wildcats.

The Nittany Lions have had different stars in each of their first four wins. This truly has been a team effort for Penn State up to this point.

Veterans and young players alike have played key roles for Penn State this season. One week, six-year senior Sean Clifford is carrying the offense, the next it’s true freshman Nick Singleton. This has made the Nittany Lions both difficult to gameplan for and fun to watch.

Northwestern is struggling this season, losing its last three games, all against out of conference opponents. The struggles of the Wildcats should allow for a big day for the Nittany Lions.

Here’s three players who could have a big day on Saturday.
