Penn State and a few other Big Ten teams came away with double-digit wins this past weekend. 

The Big Ten is starting to see separation between the good teams and the not so good ones.

Minnesota, Ohio State, Illinois and Penn State all had sizeable wins, while Michigan had more trouble than expected with Maryland.

Purdue and Northwestern struggled with lesser opponents, with the Wildcats falling to Miami (OH) at home.

There was plenty of Big Ten on Big Ten violence this weekend with the bulk of the teams playing their first conference game. Next week will start the full schedule of Big Ten play with all 14 teams playing a conference game.

Before we look ahead to that, let’s take a look back at what transpired during Week Four for the Big Ten teams.
