At least three sacks and two forced turnovers

This is partly a little selfish, as this would help a couple of my preseason bold predictions for the defense to come true, but regardless, this is still a team that the Nittany Lions should be able to get a ton of pressure on and be able to force multiple turnovers.

The Chippewas have allowed just five sacks so far through three games, but this should definitely be the best defense and the best pass rush they’ll see all year.

Penn State Football was able to generate six sacks against a good SEC offensive line last week, so realistically three this week should be a lock, though they can definitely register much more than that.

As for turnovers, Central Michigan has turned it over four times so far this season, which is about middle of the pack in college football. Yet again, this defense will be unlike anything they’ll see all year and this secondary especially should be able to haul in an interception or two. Plus, this unit seems to have a knack for forcing fumbles, so I wouldn’t be shocked to see on or two of those as well this week.

I’d like to see another dominant performance by Manny Diaz’s unit where they can pad their stats a little.
