Penn State football’s matchup with Central Michigan on Saturday should give many young players a chance to shine.

Penn State football, with its eyes on another dominating win, faces Central Michigan this Saturday.

The Nittany Lions are 3-0 and are all the way up to No. 14 in AP Poll after starting the season unranked.

Veteran players like Sean Clifford, Brenton Strange, Curtis Jacobs and Joey Porter Jr. have been key members of this surge, but youngsters are playing a significant role as well.

Running backs Nick Singleton and Kaytron Allen have led the way on offense, while defensive end Chop Robinson and linebacker Abdul Carter have been stars on defense. Many of these guys broke out against Ohio and have now solidified themselves as key contributors.

With Penn State facing a struggling Central Michigan squad on Saturday, there should be plenty of opportunities for more young players to receive their coming out party in college football.
