Penn State Football: What the win over Auburn means for recruiting
Penn State football dominated Auburn on Saturday 41-12, and the win may bring more ‘wins’ in the future for the Nittany Lions.
Auburn went all out for its matchup with Penn State football this past weekend.
The Tigers held an ‘orange out’ in the stadium and invited dozens on their top recruiting targets to watch the game. It was setting up to be a big day for Auburn.
Sean Clifford, Nick Singleton and the Penn State defense had something to say about that though, as they ran Auburn out of its own stadium with a 41-12 win.
The win was a statement by James Franklin and his Nittany Lions. The season is only three weeks old, but Penn State already has two road wins over Power Five programs. It’s early, and plenty of tough tests remain, but it looks like things are getting back to the ways of 2016-19 in Happy Valley.
