Youth Movement

Penn State Football finds itself playing several Freshmen this season. The two-deep depth chart is littered with Freshmen eligible players that are being forced into contributing. The good news is, the youngsters have delivered.

Nicholas Singleton and Kaytron Allen are being asked to lead the Runningback room. Wide Receiver Omari Evans is impressing coaches. Quarterback Drew Allar has looked good in limited action. Zakee Wheatley and Abdul Carter are flashing on defense.

Long story short, the youth that has played has infused Penn State with an energy we haven’t seen since 2019. The future at Penn State looks incredibly promising.

Bold Prediction #2

The Freshmen score three touchdowns.

With Nicholas Singleton and Kaytron Allen in the backfield, and Omari Evans and Harrison Wallace at receiver, there will be plenty of opportunities for these freshmen to make an impact.
