Sean Clifford’s experience

It’s games like this that having 35 starts under your belt as a starting quarterback is the most beneficial.

The environment at Jordan-Hare Stadium figures to be hostile and electric, but at this point in his career, there’s nothing that Sean Clifford hasn’t seen. He’s started in plenty of tough environments over the years.

He has won at Camp Randall, and he has won at Kinnick and was on his way to a 2-0 record in that environment before going down with an injury. Plus, he is 2-0 against the spread at The Horseshoe.

Clifford’s poise and confidence going into a tough environment will allow him to be able to lead his younger and more inexperienced teammates. He can provide a calming presence for the rest of the offense and the rest of the team.
