Penn State Football still has a bit of work to do in the 2023 recruiting class.

Penn State football received some good news Saturday night after the team’s 46-10 win over Ohio.

The good news came in the form of a Zion Tracy commitment for the Nittany Lions. The 3-star, speedy cornerback committed while on campus for a visit. He became commit No. 20 for Penn State football in the 2023 cycle.

Penn State’s 2023 class sits pretty at No. 12 in the national rankings as the cycle starts to come to a close. The class currently consists of one 5-star, 13 4-stars and six 3-stars.

This is a really solid class and complements the 2022 class well. These two recruiting classes have a chance to be the reason Penn State finally breaks through to the College Football Playoff.

With all that said, there’s still some work left to be done in the 2023 class. We’re going to look at the three positions the staff still needs to continue to prioritize over the next few months.
