Penn State football impressed in its home opener against Ohio on Saturday.

Penn State football is out to a 2-0 start after a 46-10 win over Ohio on Saturday.

The Nittany Lions looked good in all three phases of the game and were able to rotate a ton of young players into the game.

It was a feel-good performance and one that the home crowd certainly appreciated with breakout days from young stars like Drew Allar and Nick Singleton. Many fans stuck around until the end to watch these guys play, even though the outcome had already been decided.

Quarterback Sean Clifford and the rest of the staters had a strong first half, which allowed the coaching staff to put the young players in the game. Clifford continues to look closer to the version of him we saw before his injury last year.

A big-time matchup with Auburn is up next, but before we turn the page, let’s take a look at the main takeaways from the victory over Ohio.
