Penn State football’s first home game will be an opportunity for recruits to see the Nittany Lions in action.

Penn State football’s home opener will be this Saturday against Ohio, and plenty of recruits are expected to be in attendance.

The Nittany Lions currently have the No. 12 recruiting class in the nation for 2023 and have one 2024 commit in Cooper Cousins.

While the 2023 cycle is wrapping up, work still remains in the class. Most of the focus has turned to the 2024 class though. Although Penn State football’s opponent this week is just Ohio, there are only so many home games, and the recruits are taking advantage of the sparse number of opportunities.

Recruits from both cycles, along with 2025 recruits, will take in the Nittany Lions matchup against Ohio. Many have already publicly stated their intention to be in attendance to be at the game, so we compiled a list of some of the most notable visitors.
