Five things I want to see out of Penn State Football when they take on Ohio
By Nick Kreiser
No sacks allowed
In week one, Penn State’s offensive line allowed just one sack, which is an improvement from a year ago–though their pass protection certainly still has plenty of room for improvement.
Ohio registered two sacks in their week one win over FAU, and I’m looking for there to be a goose egg in that column for the Bobcats in week two.
If the Nittany Lions can’t pass protect against what projects as a middle of the pack MAC team, what can we expect when they take on Michigan and Ohio State? Whatever it is, it probably wouldn’t be good.
If Sean Clifford is kept clean and upright on Saturday, he’ll likely be able to lead this offense to a lot of first half points and a comfortable lead at the break; at which point Drew Allar and likely some backups along the offensive line can come in, and I expect the same out of them.
