WR Edwin Joseph

Penn State currently has two 4-star wide receivers committed in Carmelo Taylor and Ejani Shakir. That won’t stop the Nittany Lions from continuing their pursuit of more weapons for Drew Allar in the future.

One name to monitor is 3-star Edwin Joseph from Florida. The Nittany Lions have been all over the place in Florida this cycle and there’s no reason to stop now.

If Penn State wants Joseph, it’ll have to battle with Miami, who just offered Joesph on Monday. The new coaching bump at Miami is legit, so this will be a tough battle.

It will be interesting to see if Joseph makes it up to Penn State for a game before making a decision.

Penn State will likely continue to recruit the likes of Cam Seldon and Rodney Gallagher as well. Seldon may be a tough pull with Tennessee finally looking like it is taking a step forward as a program. Gallagher could become available later in the cycle if West Virgnia continues to struggle and decides to make a coaching change.

For now, the staff will focus on the likes of Joseph and few other Florida athletes that are still out there.
