Is the Penn State Football wide receiver room even deeper than expected?

According to some comments from starting quarterback Sean Clifford, redshirt freshman wide receiver Tre Wallace has been getting some first team reps from time to time throughout camp.

We knew all offseason that Parker Washington and Mitchell Tinsley would start at wideout, with KeAndre Lambert-Smith likely being the third with Malick Meiga competing with him for that spot. We also knew that the Nittany Lions had plenty of other good receivers, but it seems like the unit may be even better than anticipated.

If Tre Wallace has been able to work his way into some first team reps with the amount of talent he has in front of him, that can only mean good things for the offense.

The more guys that the staff is comfortable having out there playing meaningful snaps, the better.
