Penn State Football key player on defense – Adisa Isaac

As a projected starter at defensive end, Adisa Isaac will play a major role in helping the Nittany Lions get pressure on opposing quarterbacks.

There are many players who will be important in this aspect–such as Nick Tarburton, Chop Robinson, and Dani Dennis-Sutton–but as a veteran with a ton of upside, Isaac is likely the biggest X-factor among this unit.

Along with being important in the pass rush department, Isaac will also be expected to help this defensive front stop the run and not allow running backs to get up field to the second level. As an end, it’ll be particularly important for him to set the edge and be sure to contain ball carriers trying to bounce it outside and turn the corner.

If Adisa Isaac can remain healthy and play to his blue-chip potential, it could help to provide an extra boost for this defense to take another step forward in 2022.
