Heisman Odds

QB Sean Clifford +10000

Sixth-year quarterback Sean Clifford has some pretty large Heisman odds.

His odds, which are via bet365, are at +10000. He has the same odds as Purdue quarterback Aidan O’Connell, who Clifford will go head-to-head with in week one. Other players with the same odds include Michigan running back Blake Corum.

After completing 61% of his passes for 3,107 yards and 21 touchdowns last year, Clifford is looking for more success this year considering he’s now healthy. Being in Mike Yurcich’s system for a second year will also benefit Clifford.

If the offensive line holds up, Clifford has plenty of weapons around him to put up some big numbers this season. That is a big if though.

A Penn State football player has not won the Heisman trophy since John Cappelletti in 1973. If you believe this is the year for Clifford, you’ll be in for a big pay day.

No other Penn State player has odds on the list provided by Vegas Insider. Freshman running back Nick Singleton could certainly be high on this list this time next year though.
