Penn State Football receiving records

Similar to rushing, nobody on this team, this year, is catching DaeSean Hamilton’s record of 214 career receptions, or Bobby Engram’s records of 3,026 career receiving yards and 31 touchdowns. Parker Washington is the closest active player to reaching all three of those, but he’s simply just too far behind to have a realistic chance of catching any of them in 2022.

However, there are some single season records that stand to be broken.

The single season receptions and single season receiving yards records are both held by Allen Robinson with 97 catches for 1,432 yards, both in 2013. The single season touchdowns mark is held by Bobby Engram with 13.

It would be a bit of a long shot for any of these three to be broken this year, but with the level of talent that Parker Washington and Mitchell Tinsley possess, I’m not going to put it past them.

After all, Tinsley caught 87 passes for 1,402 yards and 14 touchdowns last season, albeit in a much easier conference, but he is still good enough to break at least one of the Penn State Football single season receiving records.
