QB Jadyn Davis

After landing 5-star Drew Allar and 3-star Beau Pribula in 2022, the Nittany Lions are currently quarterback-less in the 2023 cycle.

Commit Marcus Stokes flipped to Florida back in July, leaving Penn State in a bad spot.

They’ve closed in on Tulane commit Jaxon Smolik, but there’s no guarantee that goes anywhere.

Regardless of what happens in 2023, Penn State should set its sights high for a quarterback in 2024. Enter 5-star Jadyn Davis.

From North Carolina, Davis is one of the most sought-after recruits in the entire country. He has 31 offers, which includes all the national powers like Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, LSU, Notre Dame, Ohio State and so on.

If Penn State football wants to be elite, then Davis needs to be on the priority list.

Landing an impact quarterback over an offer sheet like this will not be easy, but if Sean Clifford improves in 2022 and ends up getting drafted and then Allar sets the world on fire in 2023, Davis may see Penn State as a quarterback destination.

If the Nittany Lions miss on Davis, there’s plenty of other names out there to target, but in order to be elite, you need elite talent, and that’s Davis.
