DJ Chester

DJ Chester does not have a Penn State offer, but if Penn State wants to set its sights high, Chester is an option.

A high school teammate of former Penn State offensive tackle target Zech Owens, Chester has risen up the recruiting rankings all summer.

The 6-foot-5, 300-pounder is currently rated as the No. 16 offensive tackle target in the country.

Being from Georgia, his offer sheet is filled with many of the south’s biggest programs. The likes of LSU, Auburn Florida State, Ole Miss, Michigan, Michigan Stae Arkansas, Miami and Tennessee have all offered him.

According to his 247 Sports profile, Chester only took two official visits in June. If he plans to stretch out his recruitment, he’s worth offering and then attempt to get him up for the Whiteout.

Considering Penn State has a history with this high school from recruiting Owens, offering Chester makes sense, even if they’re currently behind the 8 ball.
