Possible Flips

There are three wide receivers committed to other schools that come to mind.

The first is Kenny Johnson from Pennsylvania. The 3-star is committed to Pitt currently. He was someone who was at Penn State a lot during the season and this winter. Despite this, he committed to Pitt back in June and never made an official to Penn State.

Another wide receiver target who spent a lot of time at Penn State but ultimately ended up not taking an official visit was Rodney Gallagher. Another PA kid, Gallagher committed to West Virginia in May and shut down his recruitment. Flipping Gallagher right now doesn’t seem likely, but if West Virginia struggles this season, there could be significant coaching changes. If that occurs, Penn State will likely reach out.

The last flip target is Cam Seldon. Seldon took an official to Penn State in June but picked Tennessee a few weeks later. The 4-star was towards the top of Penn State’s board for a while, and that hasn’t changed. Tennessee seems to be a lot more stable than in years past, so the chances of Seldon flipping because of a meltdown in Knoxville seems unlikely.
