A Normal Feeling

This is the first ‘normal summer’ this coaching staff has experienced in Happy Valley.  The 2021 summer training program was heavily affected by the on-going COVID pandemic and, while certainly not over, many restrictions have been lifted, allowing for a more ‘normal’ summer for Shrewsberry and Co.

“The whole team wasn’t here the entire time during our eight weeks (last year)…and we didn’t get to do as much stuff together,” Shrewsberry said.  He noted the staff is making a little more of an effort to spend more time together, both on and off the court.  Shrewsberry went on hoping that becoming closer now should help with things get tough.  And with how many close games the team faced last year, hopefully this will pay off starting in November.
