Penn State football’s 2023 recruiting class is almost complete, but some work remains.

Penn State football just finished up an impressive recruiting stretch in which the program reeled in four 4-star recruits in one week.

Thanks to these additions, the Nittany Lions now have the No. 3 recruiting class in the nation. The class is now also closing in on being at capacity, as there are now 19 members in the class.

With so much completed already, James Franklin and his staff should feel good about the job they’ve done so far. However, the job is not finished as there are still multiple holes in the class that need to be addressed.

Thankfully, plenty of targets still remain out there for the Nittany Lions to prioritize. With few spots remaining, the staff needs to make sure they are taking the best possible options available to them.

Let’s take a look at some of the work that still remains in the 2023 recruiting cycle for Penn State football.
