Andre Robinson (2015-2017)

Not many people remember that Penn State signed two running backs in the 2015 cycle.

In addition to Barkley, Penn State signed 4-star Andre Robinson from Harrisburg.

Robinson did not see action as a true freshman in 2015 but did see some action in 2016. The problem for Robinson was that in addition to Barkley, he was also behind the guy who we’re going to discuss next on this list. That didn’t give Robinson many opportunities to shine.

Despite this, Robinson rushed for 141 yards and five touchdowns in 2016. He also caught two passes for 42 yards and a touchdown. His numbers reduced in 2017 as he only received nine carries.

Robinson decided to leave Penn State after the 2017 season and transfer to Delaware. In two seasons with the Blue Hens, Robinson rushed for 273 yards and a touchdown on 81 carries.

Andre Robinson was a serviceable tailback who got caught in the middle of one of the most talented running back groups of the decade.
