For Penn State Football in 2022, there are three key stats that will ultimately determine how successful this team will or won’t be. What are they?

Right off the bat, some obvious team stats are things such as the averages of both yards and yards allowed, and more importantly the averages of points and points allowed – but those are too obvious.

We’re looking at more of a cause-and-effect situation.

Which three specific stats will help this team to score more points, as well as prevent their opponents from scoring too often?

We’re also eliminating some obvious ones that all coaches rave about, such as turnover margin and time of possession. Those are obviously important, but we’re going to focus on three key areas that could make or break the 2022 Penn State Football season.
