Kenny Minchey

Kenny Minchey is an interesting name because of who he’s committed to.

The 4-star quarterback is committed to Pitt.

Penn State and Pitt have not had a recruiting battle recently, but Minchey would be a big battle.

The Tennessee native committed to Pitt back in April and hasn’t shown any signs of wavering his commitment since.  He did garner more attention though when he was named to the Elite 11 finals.

Considering the year Kenny Pickett had in 2021, flipping a quarterback from Pitt is not as easy as it may have been a year ago. They are selling kids on being the next Pickett.

Penn State should at least poke around a see if there’s any interest from the athletic quarterback. His other offers are not from programs with a bigger national image than Penn State, so if they offered, they would have that going for them.
