WR Carmelo Taylor

Carmelo Taylor is a relatively new target, but he’s garnered some attention lately.

The 4-star speedy wide receiver from Virginia will make his college choice on July 25. His finalists include Penn State, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia Tech and South Carolina.

Taylor was on campus for an official visit on the weekend of June 222-24, making Penn State his last visit before deciding.

Taylor is listed at 6-foot and 170 pounds, so he does have some developing to do. The speed is legit though, as he was one of the best track athletes in the state of Virginia this past spring.

If Cam Seldon picked Penn State yesterday, it’s unlikely the Nittany Lions would pursue another receiver, but Taylor now moves a few rungs up the target board.
