With now just eight weeks until the Nittany Lions kick off their season at Purdue, we thought it would be fitting to rank all eight of James Franklin’s Penn State teams.

James Franklin has had a roller coaster of a career so far in Happy Valley, from a conference title to a sub-.500 season, and everything in between, he has experienced almost everything that a college football coach can in just eight short years.

While he and the team are focused on getting back to the playing like they did during the highs of Franklin’s tenure, we take a look back at all eight of his Penn State teams.
