OT Zechariah Owens

Zechariah Owens was a name that came up a lot with the Nittany Lions in the spring months.

He scheduled his commitment date for July 4, but it doesn’t look like the Nittany Lions will be the winners of this one.

Owens scheduled his commitment just days after he took an official visit to Clemson. To public knowledge, Owens never took an official visit to Penn State after announcing the commitment date. It looks like Clemson is in a really good spot here when you look at those facts.

Owens would be a welcomed addition to the Penn State class. He is a massive offensive tackle listed at 6-foot-6 and 365 pounds. He is rated as the No. 16 offensive tackle in the country, and we all know Penn State can use the offensive line help.

While enjoying an Independence Day cookout, take a quick look on Twitter to see if Owens surprises us and picks Penn State.
