3. Yazeed Haynes ends up a 4-star

This may not happen in July, but Penn State commit Yazeed Haynes could be primed for a huge recruiting bump.

Right now, the speedy athlete is listed as a 3-star and the No. 613 player in the 247 Sports Composite rankings. It’s unlikely that ranking stays for long.

Georgia recently offered Haynes, showing just how good of an athlete schools around the country consider him to be. Obviously, holding off Georgia for Haynes is a whole different story and something that may come up down the road.

If Haynes was to receive his fourth star, that would mean that 12 out of Penn State’s 16 commits would be blue chip recruits. That would give the Nittany Lions a blue-chip ratio of 75% in this class, a really good number to be at.

Haynes may need to put up numbers during his senior season to get the rankings increase, but it would not be a surprise to see this happen at all.
