2. There will be a 2024 commit this month

Penn State football’s lone 2024 commit, Cooper Cousins, tweeted out a cryptic tweet the other that may have hinted at some news to come.

While no timeline has been set by any 2024 targets, anyone can pop at any time. Penn State’s top rated 2023 commit, Alex Birchmeier, was the 2023 commit last July. Birchmeier, a 5-star recruit, did not drag his recruitment out, so you could definitely a recruit of any caliber committing this early.

Two recruits did respond to Cousins’ tweet. They were 4-star cornerback Kenneth Woseley and 4-star quarterback Michael Van Buren. Now, that doesn’t mean Cousins is hinting at one of those two, but at least keep an eye on them.

The hope is that Penn State’s 2024 recruiting class can keep up with what the 2022 class did and what the 2023 class is in the process of doing.
