Penn State Football: 5 bold recruiting predictions for July
1. Over 4.5 commits in July
No, it doesn’t look like Penn State is going to add 12 members to one recruiting class in one month again.
For starters, the Nittany Lions already have 16 commits, and it’s unlikely they take as many as 28 commits, even though they’re now capable of doing so.
With that said, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Penn State football land five commitments this month.
Let’s start with targets we know are committing this month: LB Tony Rojas on July 14, LB Ta’Mere Robinson on July 15 and DT Derrick LeBlanc and CB Ja’Keem Jackson on the July 28. The Nittany Lions are in solid position with both linebackers, and it wouldn’t be a shock to see both pick Penn State. The Florida recruits, LeBlanc and Jackson, are going to be a little more difficult to land.
In addition to these four, multiple other targets who took officials to Penn State could be headed towards a decision this month. They include Jason Moore, Cameron Seldon, Treyaun Webb, Evan Link, Stanton Ramil, London Montgomery and Kaveion Keys.
While not all these guys will end up committing in July, and certainly not all will pick Penn State, it’s not that outlandish to think the Nittany Lions land at least three of them.
That would put Penn State right at five commits for the month if Rojas and Robinson do end up committing to Penn State.
