1. Official Visit Magic

Whatever Penn State football is doing on these official visits is working.

The Nittany Lions landed five commitments in June and all five recruits committed shortly after an official visit to Happy Valley.

More commitments as a result of these visits may be on the way in July, helping the Nittany Lions secure another top ten recruiting class.

It is impressive to see what the staff is doing on these visits.

The most impressive win was Tomarrion Parker. The 4-star from Alabama had never visited Penn State before and yet, two days after his official visit, he committed to Penn State. That says a lot about what is happening at these visits.

Seeing how well Penn State has done because of these official visits the last two recruiting cycles makes it easier to understand why the 2021 class, which did not have visits due to Covid-19, was a bit of a struggle.

As long as Penn State can get a recruit on campus, fans should feel good about the Nittany Lions’ chances of landing the recruit.
