Adisa Isaac – defensive end

As we discussed yesterday, the lack of a pass rush is a seldomly talked about reason for Penn State’s struggles last season. (Click here to read that article).

The Nittany Lions need to be able to get more pressure on opposing quarterbacks, and as a veteran defensive end with the highest ceiling of all the upperclassmen at the position, Adisa Isaac will play an important role in helping this defense do just that.

Coming off of a torn Achilles’ that sidelined Isaac for the entire 2021 season, nobody is quite sure what to expect out of the redshirt junior.

Although it means next to nothing once a player steps on campus, Adisa Isaac was a highly rated four-star prospect in the 2018 class, bordering on five-star status – so the potential is certainly there for the six-foot-four, 244-pound Brooklyn native.

Penn State Football will need a breakout season by Adisa Isaac in 2022, as he will be one of the most important players for this defense.
