Penn State Basketball will travel to Clemson to take on the Tigers in the annual B1G-ACC Challenge on Tuesday November 29th. You can basically guarantee this will be telecast on ESPN U at either 7:00 pm or 9:15 pm.

In what would be a good football game, Penn State Basketball takes its surprisingly good challenge record in the challenge on the road to South Carolina.  Penn State is 11-10 in the challenge overall, with a three-game winning streak ending last year after a loss at home to Miami (Florida).

The Big Ten has won the last three iterations of this challenge but the ACC leads 12-8-3 overall (mostly because they won the first ten).  Clemson will give Penn State an opportunity to pick up a win on the road, which was incredibly rare last year (note: they won one road game all of last year).  Clemson was 17-16 overall last year, 8-12 in the ACC, and fell in the 2nd round of the ACC Tournament in overtime to Virginia Tech.

Penn State has faced off with Clemson once before in the B1G-ACC Challenge, a 96-88 loss in the Bryce Jordan Center back in 2005.  The Nittany Lions roster seems to be finalized for the 2022-2023 season after John Harrar, Greg Lee, Jalanni White, and Jaheam Cornwall graduated and Jevonnie Scott decided not to return to the program.  Penn State will welcome their second-highest ranked recruiting class of all time along with transfer portal players Cam Wynter, Andrew Funk, and Michael Henn.
