Adisa Isaac – defensive end

As a former top-100 recruit according to 247 Sports, Adisa Isaac has all the makings of a first or second round draft pick; but first and foremost, he needs to stay healthy. On top of that, he needs to prove his potential and help to lead Penn State’s defensive end unit.

Early in his career, Isaac was stuck behind numerous outstanding defensive ends such as Yetur Gross-Matos, Shaka Toney, and Odafe Oweh; so although he was a rotational piece and contributed from time to time, he did not have an opportunity to crack the starting lineup.

In those two seasons (2019 and 2020), Isaac compiled 27 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, and a forced fumble.

2021 was supposed to have been his time to shine, until he suffered an unfortunate offseason injury that sidelined him for the entire season.

Now, the redshirt junior defensive lineman is finally healthy and has all the potential in the world to earn himself a phone call from an NFL team in the early rounds of the draft.

At this point, he is probably flying under the radar, and many teams may not even have their eye on him, simply because he has not played a whole lot to this point in his Penn State Football career. He has the power to change that, though.

Look for Adisa Isaac to put together a breakout 2022 campaign, and to see his draft stock continually trend upward throughout the season.
