Penn State Football landing Tomarrion Parker on Tuesday  was a big deal for plenty of reasons.

If you were pleasantly surprised on Tuesday when you saw that Tomarrion Parker committed to Penn State, I wouldn’t blame you.

This commitment was a big deal.

Rated as the No. 80 player in the 247 Sports Composite, Parker is the third highest ranked player in Penn State’s 2023 recruiting class. The 6-foot-4, 255-pound pass rusher is exactly what the Nittany Lions needed in this 2023 class.

With Parker in the fold, Penn State has the No. 3 recruiting class in the nation. It looks like the staff is crushing the official visits and more good news could be on the way soon as other targets have started to set commitment dates.

We’re going to dive into why this commitment is so important to the Nittany Lions and what it shows about the Penn State program and the staff’s ability to recruit.
