5. DB Elliot Washington

Elliot Washington, a 4-star defensive back from Florida who is committed to Alabama, is visiting Penn State this weekend. Yes, you read that correctly.

Washington tweeted earlier this week that he’s coming to Happy Valley this weekend.

The 5-foot-11 Washington is considered one of the best defensive backs in the country, ranked as the No. 109 player in the country in the 247 Sports Composite.

He has been committed to Alabama since January but looks to be doing his due diligence before entirely shutting down his recruitment.

The fact that Penn State’s staff was able to convince Washington to take a visit is impressive. The goal is to now blow him away on the visit and give him something to think about. Adding an elite talent like Washington would be a massive win, flipping him from Alabama would be a sign that the staff can compete with the best.

Washington is a name to look up on Monday and Tuesday as feedback from his visit will likely start to pour in.
