1. S Moussa Kane

Moussa Kane, a 3-star from New Jersey, tweeted earlier this week that he will be taking an official visit to Penn State this weekend.

Listed at 6-foot-1 and 176 pounds, Kane already has pretty good size for a defensive back and will obviously grow once he gets into a college strength program.

Kane ranks 759th in the 247 Sports Composite rankings but has a healthy offer sheet. In addition to Penn State, he has offers from the likes of Clemson, Oklahoma, Ole Miss and Wisconsin. So far, Penn State is the only school he’s tweeted about visiting.

Penn State has one cornerback committed in Lamont Payne and one safety committed in Conrad Hussey, but they are looking to add to that haul. There are plenty of safeties visiting in the coming weeks, so it will be interesting to see who ends up in the final spots at defensive back.

The Nittany Lions took three safeties in the 2022 class, compared to just one cornerback. It’s unlikely they take more than three safeties again, with two possibly the cutoff.
