RB London Montgomery

London Montgomery probably shouldn’t be considered under the radar, but he still is.

A lot of fans look at Florida product Treyaun Webb as the running back in Penn State’s 2023 class, but it’s looking more likely that it will be Montgomery.

The Scranton Prep standout isn’t even really underrated either. The 247 Sports Composite has him as a very high 3-star (12 spots from 4-star territory) and a couple sites even rate him as a 4-star.

If anything, Montgomery and his talent is just being overlooked.

He may be a smaller running back at 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds, but he makes up for it with great speed and has shown the ability to be a threat in the passing game as well.

A year after taking two of the best running backs in the country in Nick Singleton and Kaytron Allen, the Nittany Lions can afford to take a guy who may need a year or two to be ready for college ball.

At the end of the day, it wouldn’t be a shock to see Montgomery end up as consensus 4-star prospect. Penn State fans should be very pleased if he ends up in the 2023 class.
