Penn State Football defensive end – Adisa Isaac

Unfortunately for both himself and the Nittany Lions, Adisa Isaac had to miss all of last season with an injury he suffered in the offseason.

That is all in the past now for the redshirt junior, as he has a chance to finally prove to everyone that he can be a disruptor at defensive end for Penn State Football.

As a true freshman in 2019, Isaac was a contributor behind Yetur Gross-Matos, Shaka Toney, and Odafe Oweh – for a team that went 11-2. He also saw a significant amount of action as a sophomore in 2020, once again as a backup to Toney and Oweh.

Isaac accumulated 27 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, and a forced fumble in his freshman and sophomore seasons combined.

Now, the former blue-chip recruit from the class of 2019 will get his shot in the starting lineup for Penn State.

Working with defensive line coach John Scott Jr. – who has been one of James Franklin’s better assistants the past couple years – will do nothing but help Isaac to have a breakout campaign.

If he can stay healthy, Adisa Isaac could very well be Penn State’s best defensive end in 2022, and will play a big-time role in the success of the defense.
